Grew up in the small town of Sweetser, IN playing golf and basketball for Oak Hill High School.  Then, headed down to Miami, FL to play golf for Barry University.  After graduating from BU in 2005 with a degree in Sports Management my desire was to move my way up the ladder in the golf business.  I went ahead and worked a few different country clubs as an Assistant Golf Professional in Orlando, FL, Battleground, IN, and Noblesville, IN.  In 2007 I met my beautiful wife, Brooklyn, and we got married in 2008.  We have a wonderful little girl named Ruby, a little boy named McCoy, and reside just northeast of Indianapolis, IN.  I’ve since changed careers, and am currently an Account Executive at Kareo, Inc.

I’ve always had a love for cooking, and certainly intrigued by the various styles of other chefs.  I think my techniques have come from my mom, dad, and grandmother (Gram).  Obviously you pick things up here and there from books, television, and the internet, but a lot of my best dishes I believe actually come from experimentation.  I love to try different dishes from restaurants, and try to put my own spin on them at home.  And peppers… well, I’m probably addicted to them.  I love things spicy, and sometimes if it’s not a little bit uncomfortable it’s not hot enough!
